>Denice Garell-Teti’s interest in honeybees peaked when she attended a workshop that was offered locally as an introduction to beekeeping. She purchased her first hive and placed it on a friend’s property and that hive has grown into 8 hives at present! Denice is a member of the Ontario Beekeeping Association and belongs to the Ontario Women’s Beekeeping Network. She has had prize-winning success in entering her honey at many Ontario Fairs. In addition to producing honey for family, friends, and honey aficionados, Denice enjoys creating interesting hive products from beeswax and speaking to groups to bring awareness of the importance of honeybees and other pollinators and the value of honey as a product.
