Hi, I’m Lorelei. A Photographer based out of Elmvale, ON. I’m self taught with a sincere passion for all things colourful, beautiful lighting, the wonder of nature and just how fascinating all creation is. I’m drawn to macro photography as it reveals intricate details not normally noticed, such as the delicate iridescence of a wildflower petal or butterfly wing.
Quiet walks in meadows or through the woods inspires me, finding magic secret spaces and tiny nooks and crannies. As a child I loved the forest and being outdoors, immersed in nature. That hasn’t changed.
There is beauty in every day if we take the time to really look. We miss so much rushing around with busy lives. It brings great pleasure to document through the camera what I notice when I slow down.
